Despite how we are in the midst of a brand new 2010, lets not forget our Big, big thank you shout outs to all our loyal fans, customers and awesome staff for all their wonderful support and kind encouragement. We hope we’ve fulfilled all cake wishes as we definitely had tons of fun bringing your dream cakes to life.

A new year comes with new resolutions. For 2010, we at Delectable, hope to bring more happiness to the world through our tailor–made cakes and yummy Delectable products – much like what the 7 Sins of Chocolate has done for most of you! We also hope to meet more of our fans from all across the globe and give them the humongous hugs they deserve.   Lastly, we hope to have the best year yet for Delectable; as we learn from all our past mistakes and successfully make progress in the industry. Expanding the Delectable brand is our mission for the year. Yeah! Now that we’ve conquered Malaysia, we’re ready to take over the world!!

Delectable Layer Cake

Have you tried our Delectable LAYER Cake? No? You sure are missing out!! Delectable Layers Cakes are moist, buttery, spice layer cakes.  Handmade and crafted with love; this traditional Indonesian layer cake will be a delightful addition to blow your guests away at any teatime gathering. The cakes come in two variations – the traditional plain spice layer cake or layer cake with prunes (yummeh!). Once you’ve tried it, we can guarantee you will be back for more!

Christmas is just around the corner, and boy, it is gonna be great!!

Here at Delectable, Christmas is all about cozying up with your favourite book with a cup of pipping hot cocoa made with our very own Delectable Chocolate Pots & munching on our moist, rich traditional Delectable Fruit Cake. Mmmm… warm Christmasy feelings in the belly.

Su has came up with several Delectable Christmas Specials! I know you’ve all been waiting for them all year!

The first set is the “Christmas Cookies” Gift Pack.

It has 6 vanilla butter cookies each with its own jolly Christmas design, as well as 3 Delectable Brownie Packs. Great as a gift for family and friend alike. Christmas Cookie Gift Packs retail art RM80 per pack.

Next is our ” Christmas Fruitcake Tree” Gift Pack.

This gift pack will surely make an impression on anyone who receives it. And trust us, they will love you forever…hahaha! This gift pack boosts an impressive Christmas tree, made with our signature Delectable Fruit Cake & decorated with fondant icing. The ‘tree’ is embellished with cute lil’ penguins, all working hard to decorate the tree with many yummy decorations made from marshmallows, candy canes & jelly beans. It is too cute! The tree is surrounded with presents, in the form of our delectable Cookie Jars filled with savoury & sweet cookies and our Happinutts. (If it’s a happy gift pack, how could we not include our Happinutts?) The pack is also filled with real walnuts ready to be cracked open and gobled away! These special Christmas gift packs are priced at RM480 per pack.

The Christmas gift packs will need to be ordered in advance. We are currently taking orders for them. The collection date for these gift sets will be on the 22nd Dec 2009. You can always drop by our Delectable store to get a peek at the mock-up for our Christmas packs.

For those who would like to purchase gifts off the shelf; we’ve also got these fun filled christmas cakes decked with cute little penguins frolicking on a snow slope! Much much better than a yule log don’t you think?! hehe.

This year; we’ve made a very limited number of these; so please come by quickly or give us a call to make reservations if you like.

In terms of our store items, Teddy; Lulu and Jo have also gotten into a christmas mood this December!

These Delectable cheesecakes are the latest desserts to join the Delectable family. Satisfy these fruity, creamy cheesecake desires of yours! Each cheesecake sits on top of a yummy cookie crust & is laced with fruits like strawberries, bananas & coconut flakes. Note to all Delectable lovers, cheesecakes come in single portions. Not meant for sharing, hahaha!! You won’t want to anyway

One has got to try each of the 3 flavour options we have – Strawberry Cheesecake, Banana & Caramel Cheesecake and of course, Coconut & Lime Cheesecake.

Hi everybody! How have you guys been doing? After a prompt break, we have finally released out our latest newsletter issue; and boy do we have news for you!

But before we get on to the gossip, all of us at Delectable would like to extend a big hug and a super thank you to all of our fans for all their love, care and support. The last few months have been crazy and for a first time little shop like us, it has been a very exciting journey. Wasn’t always easy, but we have grown & learnt in so many ways (and will continue top grow & learn). so… THANK YOU! Come visit us more for sweet treats and chit chat about yummy things! Haha!

Okay! First up is our new website. Our Delectable website has been revamped to make us more accessible to our customers, clients & friends. We like talking to all of you and have therefore set up a forum so that we can communicate! Different topics will be posted up periodically. And we can all discuss about it TOGETHER It will be a place to share recipes, tips & answer any queries you guys may have that are gnawing at your brain Now only use this space sincerely alright.. no  advertising hanky-panky or negativity is welcomed.

For all of those who keep asking us for store catalogues and brochures, a great place to start will be the gallery section of the website. Awesome photos of Su’s work have been uploaded for your visionary & imaginary delight. More importantly, it gives us a chance to show of our boss; Su’s beautiful creations, her abilities & decorating styles! Remember guys; all our projects and large cakes are individual for each client, so these are merely examples of work she’s done in the past.

And guess what? We are coming up with a Delectable Online Store! Yay!! Soon, Delectable products will be available to the entire planet! especially those with courier services! Just to let you guys know, most of the products featured in the online store will be courier-friendly. Thus our perishable products (e.g. cupcakes, tier cakes) will not be on the online store. Last but not least, we have added a few more exciting  new products to the Delectable family.  Miniature ‘gingerbread’-men shaped cookies in 2 different variations; Merry men who are sweet and Little men who are bursting with delicious savoury flavours! Check out our shop page for  pictures and more details on their flavours!

Next up is our Happinutts. They are hand roasted cashews with a light caramel coating and sprinkled with sea salt flakes. That flavorful combo of saltiness and sweetness make happinutts the perfect snack for when you are on the go or in the movies. Trust us when we say these are ADDICTIVE

Because Christmas is just around the corner, Delectable gladly brings to you, Su’s signature fruit cake. It’s a traditional english fruit cake, packed with juicy fruits and a good splash of brandy! Packaged in mini parcels complete with its own Delectable stamp; they make great gifts for loved one overseas

In the next couple of weeks, we will be coming out with our Christmas Gift Baskets & other Christmas specials. Remember Su’s ever famous adorable penguins from xmas 2008?! Well.. it’s that time of year again for your favourite little friends to make their entrance. Wait for it!! There will be penguins EVERYWHERE! *giggle*
